Air rifle repair, air gun licensing « Thread Started on Oct 19, 2009, 7:59am »
My gun dealer here in Manila will not accept my Armscor executive air rifle for repair and suggests that I go all the way to your factory in Marikina. I even tried the Armcor shop at Makati Cinema Square but they also declined the repair. I want to know which of your dealers or shops will accept my air rifle for repair.
I have read that sometime in January 1992 the police finally came out with implementing rules and regulations for licensing and transport of air rifles and pistols, which can be bothersome. What is the real deal on this? I cannot find a copy of those 1992 rules and regs, which are made reference to in the more recent rules and regs on airsoft.

Our MCS branch do not have the repair facility but they must accept your airgun and must send the unit back to us for the corresponding repair service. I'll coordinate your concern with our Makati branch.

AFAIK, it is a "one-time registration" and not a license. And if I remember it right, the registration of airguns is under Executive Order No. 256 dated 21 Dec 1995. A memorandum - "Registration of Airguns", prescribing the procedures to be followed was issued 29 Jan 1997.

Very helpful response and info; thank you so much and I will bring the air rifle in for repair as my nephew found it in my gun closet and has been insisting that I have it fixed so he can learn how to shoot. All my guns have trigger locks when the children are around.
On your answer to my other query about rare 9mm Armscor factory ammo with hollow points similar to silvertips or much closer to Golden Sabres, I will keep what is left in case nobody finds it believable. They did expand well, though, and without any jacket separation.

Hi Sir Willie, I bought my Armscor Standard Airgun (SN 249711) in Kalibo, Aklan last July 18, 2011. I had enjoyed practice shooting with it but then last week (1 month after I bought it), it malfunctioned. When I fired it, the CO2 seems to explode in the trigger chamber and that the pellet isn't discharged from the barrel. After several several attempts of "cocking and triggering", it went off. It was then that I, likewise, noticed that the "O" ring in the pellet pusher is broken.
I brought this AG to your dealer where I bought it and they said they'll send it to Armscor for repair as it is still covered by warranty.
My request is for the Armscor to facilitate for its immediate repair and send it back ASAP. Sir Willie, paki expedite, pls. I haven't registered this Airgun, yet. Magkano po ang registration?

Mga Sirs, ung AG ko po d ko pa nareregister. Pero nadadala ko anywhere in our province kahit may checkpoint. I have an Eskopeta .22 caliber AG. Scope mounted.

My Hatsan is registered while my Eskopeta is not..wala pa naman nagiging problem..kasi pag nakita naman ng LEO na airgun pinapalampas nalang..
One-time registration lang naman ok nayun wala kanang aalalahanin..kung di ako nagkakamali 500 ang binayaran ko sa Hahn para doon tyak mas mura kung ikaw ang mag-aapply..

Bro Brianbrian, if you 're living in NCR, you have to register you air rifle but if you're in the province you don't have to worry about it. Since you are a foreigner you may register it under your wife's name or a Filipino friend.

Anybody knows where to buy parts and O-rings for a crosman air rifle model 160? this rifle is the one I grew up with so I like to restore it to its original state. I was wondering if Armscor's parts can fit to this rifle. Thanks.
