No idea Sir on the teflon coated. We do not have them here at the manufacturing plant.
AFAIK, teflon coated bullets will cost more than the bare lead bullets.

Here in Cavite, teflon reload price is P8.00 while lead reload is P7.50. Just bring your empty shell casing, di kasi kasama sa price yun na sinabi ko.

Lakas mo naman 'ata kay Red! :o He!he!he!

A properly mixed lead/linotype head won't create any "leading" on a barrel of a .45 ACP pistol, since the .45 ACP's velocity is not that fast. However, on .38 Super and 9mm calibers, moly-coated bullets would help.

At magnus, teflon coated reload with 230 gr cost P 7.00 per ammo for 45, P 8.00 for 38 super for a standard load...

I think you are a bit confused.
230 grains is the bullet weight - lead core + coat ("jacket", "plate", "teflon")
powder weight varies. different smokeless powder brand / type will require different loads for a 230 gr BW

The last time I bought FMJs at Bullet Weight-Binakayan, the price was P24.00. PRNs were P18.00. Factory load & not RELOADs. But that's a long time ago. If there's a price increase, I'm sure, maliit lang.
BTW, used to work in EPZA too. My brother is presently w/ Emersson (Astec).

Merry Christmas to you & your family, Bro! :)

"teflon coated" bullets is better than bare lead.
at the same time, teflon coated bullets will help in reducing barrel wear

Teammate, ang favorite ko FMJ because it's the most consistent I've tested with the tightest grouping.

1. Teflon has been rumored to cause cancer. (so ang choices mo ay heavy metal poisoning ng lead or carcinogenic Teflon. ;D Ano ba 'yan...) ::)

2. Depending on the manufacturer of the Teflon heads, the coating might leave a lot of residue on the barrel causing buildup.

3. Teflon heads were reportedly not compatible with the barrel of the CZ Shadow (our initial tests supported this report but our recent testing somehow casted doubts on the veracity of these reports).

4. Someone said that Teflon is made of Silica, the same element used in sand paper. So is it smooth because it "sands" away the surfaces?

Note that all of the above have not been scientifically proven (except maybe for the carcinogenic effects of Teflon, not sure) so take it with a grain of salt.

sa 9mm usually 124 grains or 130 grains. Find the one that shoots good groups in your gun
