 Re: 1911 A1 45 Med Tac...Any feedback?
« Thread Started on Nov 22, 2010, 8:13pm »

This may be a little "off" the topic here so hinihingi ko na agad pasensya ng mga kasama natin sa forum..,

I saw the Recoil Master of Pascual Guns during the recently concluded gun show and I'm very much interested to know 'bout it's difference, or may I say "advantages" over a
standard full-length guide rod. Sure, the look is different but can somebody (sana si Sir Bull, kasi meron siya, can speak from his own xperience) elaborate more?
Thanks in advance.

@ Sir Bull,

Sir, I hope you don't mind me asking this pero gusto ko din po sana malaman kung magkano ang pagkakabili nyo sa Recoil Master?
(if in any case, you don't want to post your answer here, kung di po kalabisan, kahit PM na lang po sana.)
Maraming salamat po at muli- MY APOLOGIES for the OT.

STI's recoil master cost 6.4k at magnus.

The thing with the recoil master is that you have to match it whether you have your fa has a bull barrel or barrel with bushing and depends on the caliber you have (9mm, 40 or 45), to be effective for lesser recoil...

...as they say.

Some say pag stock ang FA mo, stay stock as possible for lesser headache...

ok. stay stock as possible. pero anong explanation kaya bakit ang 1911 medallion cal. 40 na bull barrel ay may flgr. bakit ang 1911 practical series cal. 40 na bull barrel din ay short guide and cap.
is it the question of performance or the price of unit?

I think it's the question of price of unit...

I used a similar system ( sprinco) until it started puking in a state match. I went back to conventional steel guide and have never looked back. I follow the KISS principle. It does change the impulse of the gun but at the end of the day, it is another gadget that can fail on you.

tried it before in my match gun Armscor A2 .40 but the timing was off during extraction of the bullet casing, changed to an FLGR no problem whatsoever

mga bro recoil master din ang suggestion ng gunsmith ko, its for fa to keep in focus on your target, unlike sa stock na once pumutok, you need to aim again or in other term eh mas time consuming... any opinion from our experts here???
