What brand and type of FLGR is best suited for my FA...ed brown, sti or wilson combat? do i need to replace also my stock reverse plug n recoil spring. Do our local gunsmiths sell this parts here or do i have to order them abroad? thnx and more power.

Please enlighten me. A bull-barreled 1911 has a reverse plug and a full length guide rod. A short (or original) guide rod would only work with a standard barrel, bushing, and spring plug.
You can have a competent gunsmith make you an FLGR for a fraction of what the brand-named manufacturers charge.

i had mine done (labor & materials) by the good col. j. bayang. ang mali ko lang ay hindi ko kinuha ang plugs if i decide to bring it back to stock standard guides. parang walang pagbabago sa firing. ang kaibhan ay madali na lang ang pagtanggal ng recoil spring kasi bushingless bull barrel nga. clip lang ang gamit para matanggal ang flgr with the recoil spring.

wala segurong mababago, except for the added weight so medyo mas mabigat yung fa and seguro medyo bawas yung muzzle rise because of it.
i had one installed in mine right after getting my fsps.
one advantage i think is that the recoil spring won't bind.
